The last stop of our trip before heading into Florida was in Brunswick, on the southern east coast of Georgia.  This stop had many great aspects.  First, our cycling friends John and Sharon from St. Pete, leave the Bahamas winter cruising grounds and head to Brunswick Landing Marina to hang out on their gorgeous catamaran

Dave and I visited Charleston last year on the Great Loop and this year, our campground was about 30 minutes outside of the historic downtown area.  So, we decided to spend time on the west side of Charleston on John’s Island.  We enjoyed a bike ride on the West Ashley Greenway trail, hiking on a
